The Space Physics Group
This Group offers Meteorology courses at M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. The meteorological research conducted at macro, meso, and micro scales includes studies on atmospheric dynamics, clouds formation and rain, hail, and the atmospheric boundary layers (where inversion usually causes serious air pollution). Such variables affect the environment, agriculture, construction and industrial plans, water, transportation, army issues, and many other aspects of human life.
The four research sections that have close collaboration with this Group include Ozone and Air Pollution Studies, Solar Physics and Astronomy, Meteorology, and Ionosphere.
