According to the Decree issued by the Cabinet of Ministers on the meeting of July 22, 2000 and on the basis of Article thirty-eight of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran (IGUT) is responsible for production and devising the calendar for the next year by the end of July each year.
