Introduction section

The unit is designed to crawl rocks that have vast applications in geosciences, geography, archeology, oceanography and climatology.

Goals and capabilities of the sector

The objectives of the section include three parts of research, education and services as follows:

A. Main objectives of research activities

The study of natural hazards includes earthquake detection, drought, flood and volcano.

Usually, natural events occur periodically. Determining the age of the rotation and the last time of the natural occurrence will help us to estimate the period of occurrence and the probability of occurrence of the next natural hazard. One of the basic methods for estimating the risk of earthquakes in relation to faults is the degree of fault slip during a particular period, which is important with the help of dating techniques.

In archeology, determining the absolute age of civilizations and findings is key. This section is hoping to help archaeologists in Iran to carry out research projects by inventing deposits and archaeological findings.

In climatology, taking into account the recording of past events in the nature of nature, it is possible to find a picture of the state of the climate with the history of the past earth's climates.

Longitudinal studies of seismology, ancient climatology and archeology can be studied simultaneously in different regions of Iran. For example, the long-standing use of long-standing seismology and climatology to examine how civilization, immigration and the disappearance of ...

B. The main objectives of the training activities

Given the urgency of the research fields mentioned in the main objectives of the research activities, it is essential for specialist forces to strengthen their national activities in order to achieve those goals. In this regard, the department hopes to provide the groundwork for the training of the physics, land physics, geophysics, geology, geography, archeology, and other fields through close educational cooperation.

(C) The main objectives of the department's activities in relation to other organizations and centers

Despite its lack of facilities, this unit has provided the necessary ground for furthering its goals, while maintaining close contact with the universities of Oxford and other universities in the UK. In this way, the facility has been outsourced to meet the needs of the country, and is now with the centers Various government agencies including the Geological Survey, the Ministry of Housing, the Heritage and Tourism Organization, etc. have a research relationship.

Equipment (laboratory and field)

Despite the fact that much effort has been made to fund the purchase of equipment so far, since the beginning of 2007, with the construction of a dark room, a move has been initiated to establish a national luminescence annihilation laboratory.

We are ready to San finding the luminescence method based on the participation of academic and price are agreed.

Please before the talk with us do not try sampling.
